This hike is a killer workout for your legs and butt – with a large number of stairs (up and down) and rocky/uneven surface with loose rocks/gravel in places along the trail.
It will be more challenging for a beginner hiker than Morialta, but it is definitely a great route to do if you are training for a multi-day walking tour as it helps build your endurance and key muscles (glutes, calves, quads) while also giving you some cardio/aerobic exercise at the same time.
