1. Entrepreneur’s Week opening event

The Department of State Development, Investment Attraction South Australia and the City of Adelaide, along with Brand South Australia invite you to kick the week off with a morning of ideas, innovation and inspiration. The opening event features keynote speaker Suzi Sosa, current Don Dunstan Foundation’s Specialist Thinker in Residence and co-founder and CEO of Verb, an internationally-renowned company building innovation ecosystems focused on social and environmental issues. You’ll also hear from inspiring local entrepreneurs, across three sessions following morning tea.

2. SouthStart

With over 600 attendees, 25+ speakers and 50+ expos, SouthStart is a chance to get close and personal with people who have taken the road less travelled and made it big.  The event features leading entrepreneurs, investors and experts across two days of inspirational keynote addresses, panels and topical insights in a fun, informative and engaging format.

3. Accelerating Entrepreneurship in Adelaide

The University of Adelaide are right at home when it comes to innovation, and in this afternoon of sessions they’re set to cover topics on the present and future of Adelaide entrepreneurialism. From building start-up ecosystems to responding to climate change, expect big idea, local insight, and global impact; as well as the launch of the University’s ThincLab co-working space.

4. Co-working launch party

Adelaide has more co-working spaces per capita than any other city in Asia. Co-working South Australia is the first state-based representative body of its kind in Australia, and their launch event is a chance to let your hair down after an inspiring, busy week – and meet Adelaide’s accelerators and incubators at the same time.

5. Winnovation Awards

The Winnovation Awards showcase and celebrate the successes of female innovators changing the game in our state. Come along to hear from past winners and finalists, and show your support for South Australia’s entrepreneurial women. Tickets are free – but availability is limited, so make sure you book.

Entrepreneurs Week is a collaboration between Brand SA, the Adelaide Entrepreneurship Forum, Adelaide City Council, the State Government and other stakeholders, and is supported by News Corp Australia. Check out the full program here.
